Mätning, analys och optimering av skogsmaskiners driftsäkerhet

Axelsson, Sven-Åke

Abstract

In a project on Logging-Machine Failure Avoidance, relevant experience in operating technically complex machinery in other industries has been applied to optimizing logging-machine operations. Key machine and operational parameters have been identified and evaluated, with emphasis on reliability and maintainability and their effect on machine availability. New definitions of time elements and procedures have been developed to ensure accurate definition and measurement of machine parameters necessary for control and improvement of machine operations. The procedures are being applied to collection and analysis of field data on 20 Koehring Short-Wood Harvesters on regular operations in Eastern Canada. The information achieved can be used for routine control of operations, prompt decision-making on operational and technical improvements, longer-term analysis for optimizing machine operations and unbiased evaluation and comparison of machine performance.
