Abstract

Under hela undersökningen registrerades akustiska data kontinuerligt.

Under denna undersökning fångades totalt 23 olika fiskarter.

The survey was conducted using the TV3L demersal trawl according to the Baltic International Trawl Survey (BITS) manual (ICES. 2014). Sweden was assigned 30 randomly selected hauls. Two stations could not be trawled because the Swedish Armed Forces denied access in some of the areas.

In total 30 valid hauls were performed with TV3L demersal trawl including 4 hauls with oxygen deficiency which were not trawled because the oxygen concentration close to the bottom was <0.5 ml/l (however they are included in stock assessment as zero catch) and covered parts of the areas SD 25, 26, 27 and 28 this year. During the whole survey, acoustic data were continuously recorded.

During this survey a total of 23 fish species were caught. Herring, sprat, cod, fourhorn sculpin and flounder dominated the total catch, in terms of weight.

The hydrographic conditions were observed and measured on every station. Only the oxygen concentration at the bottom is presented in the report.
